After breakfast drive to Chamba (190K.m) by covering approx .270kms.Among the most interesting objects in Chamba are a number of richlyv carved temples. On arrival check-in pre booked hotel.

Drive to reach the road head Traila (2500m) by covering approx.145kms. from Chamba you will enter the Pangi valley which is a land of pretty faces,, beautiful dances and scene ice splendor. Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast ,start first day is trek to Satrund (2900m) via a small village Bhanodi covering 15 kms. Today ‘s trek is through forest and ascends and descend upto Satrundi.

After break fast, start trekking to reach Bindrabani (14kms) by crossing Sacch pass (4500m) which is a steep ascent of 05 kms from Satrundi. From the pass you can have a serene and beautiful view of many virgin peaks, hanging glaciers and towering mountains. Arrival Bindrabani (2750m) & camp .

After breakfast,trek to Killar (2400m, 11 kms) which is situated amidst criss crossing trails in a deep and narrow gorge of Chenab river. Arrival Killar and camp.

After breakfast, trek to Purthi ( 2200m) .After covering 7-8 kms the trail turn east for Purthi. Purthi is a very beautiful place know for one of the best fairest nurseries and historical rest house on the right bank of Chandra Bhanga. Arrive Purthi * Camp.

Start trek (14kms) with moderate ascends & descends. Arrive Raoli & Camp.

Drive to Manali (1920m) Via Keylong (3350m) and over Rohtang pass (3980m) on arrival check in at hotel.

Depart for Delhi 12 hrs drive. Arrive Delhi and check in at hotel . Only single pax is there and your services will start from day 07 and till September 13.

By Private bus or taxi over the Rohtang Pass 13,200ft, watershed between the monsoon-watered forest ranges and the high arid lands, where the people are Buddhist ,Mongol-features and speak Tibetan language. From the pass, if there is a break in the clouds, view of Hanuman Tibba on the Kullu sides and to the north the twin peaks of Geyphang. We drive on over Keylong and Darcha to Zingzingbar. First camp at the side of stream.

The first day’s real walking up to Baralacha 4,880mts. The Mountains begins to close up. Up to the top of the Baralacha pass a long flat stretch at over 16.000 ft. It was over this pass that Kim’s Lama came down from Tibet. Camp just below the top looking walk down for the next three days.

Walk down the broad green valley floor. Interestingapline flora if you are lucky, the ground will be carpeted with yellow saxifrage. Camp just before a side river, which has to be forded early next morning.

An early start to cross the river. Fascinating geological formation. Again we camp by the river to be forded next morning. After crossing the river, a morning walk brings us to the head of a cliff. Here we see the valley dropping away below us to the Moon Lake is hiding. Walk down to Lake Chandertal (14.000ft) passing through some Gaddi flocks, the first sign Of life since leaving the Baralacha. The Lake only reveals itself after skirting a small range of hills and crossing some deep gullies.

The enjoy this most beautiful site in the Western Himalayas. The surface of the lake changes with the light, beyond cloud shadows play across the hills and beyond again the higher peaks are capped in snow.” Drive to over Kunzum Pass (4551Mts) Spiti Valley 7hrs. Hotel.

Morning after breakfast drive (32 km) to Mikkim (3087 mt.) via Gulling. Visit kungri monastery. Later on drive to Mud village (3900 mt). on arrival set-up camp for overnight stay.

After breakfast, start the first day of trek (5-6 hours) bycrossing the Pin River foot bridge. Trek continues following the right bank of Pin River. Cross Shian village enroute. Further 01 hr is a beautiful and large camping area. Continue trekking till the Pin river takes left turn. Camp at small green camping place (4100 mt.). The valley towards right leads to Pin-Parvati Pass and to the left to Bhaba Pass. Overnight stay in the tented camp.

Morning after early breakfast start trek (7-8 hours) towards Bhaba Pass. The trek is gentle climb in the begning through the morains and snow/ice patches. Closer to pass the climb is steep and somtime sleepry on loose screes. Trek climb-up towards left to the pass (4950 mt.). The descends steeply on the other side of the pass till the valley opens up at Fushtiaring. Setup camp (4100 mt) on the banks of Wanger River for overnight stay. The valley is greener as compared to valley on Spiti side. Overnight stay in tented camp

After breakfast start the down trek (4-5 hours) to Mulling following the Wanger River on the left bank. after 1 hrs the vally opens up and makes T shapes with another valley in the front. Trek takes right turn here and continue trekking after crossing a stream 2-3 times. After another 01 hr the route takes left turn and crosses the Wanger by a natural rock bridge. The valley becomes more green and forested. Continue walking further to the open flat ground and camp there for overnight stay.

Morning after breakfast walk (3-4 hours) through the forest area following the Wanger River on left bank. The route is heavily forested with pine, cedar, and birch. Reach Kafnu, the last road head in the valley. On arrival board the coach and drive (4 hours) to Kalpa (2900 mt.). Check-into Tourist Bungalows/ Tented camp for overnight stay.

After breakfast drive (85 km) to Sarahan. On arrival check-into hotel. In the afternoon visit the famous Hindu Temple of Godess Kali - Bhimkali Temple and bird breeding centre in Sarahan. Overnight stay at hotel.

Morning after breakfast drive (185 km) to Shimla via Narkanda which is famous for its 360º view of the Indian Himalayas. Arrive and check into hotel. Rest of day at leisure to explore the city on your own. Overnight stay in hotel.

Markha Valley Trek

Drive to by taxi to Spituk which is just 9 Kms from Leh town, and start the trek on the same day. A bridge takes you across the mighty river Indus to Farkha village. A walk through barren land-scape takes you to the junction where you come across a mountain stream. After fording the stream three or four times you reach a hamlet Zingchan consisting of two houses. The upper end of the village offers a beautiful camping places at a nominal charge.

After walking 3 hours upstream, two valleys come to your site, one to east and another to the south west. Rumbak a small village remains to your left. Those going to Markha have to follow the trail to the south west. After a mild ascend one reaches Yurutse consisting of two houses. After 2 hours walking a good camping site with clear spring water is available at the base of Kandala ( 4,900 Mtrs).

Having climbed the Kandala ( 4,900 Metrs) peak which commands a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains, the descend from here to the base may take 2 hours to Shingo, a small village. Now the gorge takes one’s route through thick groves of willow tress up to Choli Chikpo,almost descending to the village Sku to your left in a valley to the south east. There is also a valley to the right, or south west, which goes to Chiling, Sku, a fairly big village, offers a very good camping site in the heart of village on rental basis.

Most times, the river remains to the right and has to be crossed a few times. While crossing the river when in spate, trekkers should consult their guide or horseman. After pleasant walk through the wooded valley you reach the biggest village on the trek, Markha. The village consisting of approximately 50 houses and has a monastery on a mountain spur at the lower end of the village.

An hour walk from this village, you have to ford the river first time and follow the river upstream. You have to cross the same stream three or four times. The trail is a gentle climb up to the village of Hankar. Here one can pitch tents without any camping charges.

To the south east of Hankar the trail continues uphill, ascending for the next high pass. The base of the high pass is called Nimaling, an uninhabited place. Camping by the side of water is recommended. It being the coldest place sometimes the temperature falls below zero degrees during the summer.

The trail begins to ascend right from the camping spot. One can have a beautiful view of the mountain ranges and the wildlife around this pass . The summit of the pass, Kongmarula, 5030 metres, reveals different snow clad mountain peaks all around. The trail descend and at some points it is very steep and narrow. Loaded animals need great care in traversing the trail and at some places the narrow gorge . Follow downstream upto Shang Sumdo, a good camping place near water.

At a little distance from the camping place there is a valley to your left which takes you to Shang village, but trekkers continue straight down the wider valley, following the stream down hill. During the summer season, one should consult the guide or porter before crossing the water. The wider valley reveals the panoramic view of Indus valley. One can pitch tent by the side of water in Martselang.x

After breakfast, one should follow the trail towards the west which takes you to the famous monastery of Hemis . You have sufficient time to visit the monastery, the place also offers restaurant facilities during the tourist season. Leh , the capital town is 47 Kms from here. Our jeep will be pickup you to Leh. Start earlyfor an easy climb to the pass at 16,200ft/ 5400m, from where we have views of the Stok range behind and the Karakorum ahead. Then a descent possibly onsnow- to our high pastures camp.

 It’s an easy trail and a 3 hour walk through a high valley full of wild flowers. Camp overnight.

This is the heart of Nubra valley. Here you can see the double humped Bactrian camel a left over of the traders who traversed the legendary silk route. Another unusual feature is the sand dunes so high up in the Himalayas. The Shyok and Nubra Rivers flow through this fertile fruit rich valley. Reaching here by evening we camp near the hot springs.
