Your adventure begins with an overnight Volvo journey from Delhi to Manali. The scenic ride winds through the plains of North India into the mountains, offering glimpses of the valleys ahead. Overnight in the bus.

Arrive in Manali by morning and check in to your hotel. After freshening up, spend some free time exploring local attractions such as Mall Road, Hadimba Temple, or Old Manali cafés. In the evening, attend a safety briefing and orientation session conducted by professional guides. This includes details of the route, riding tips, and rescue procedures. Overnight stay in Manali.

Today marks the official start of your bike expedition. After breakfast, pick up your bikes and ride towards Rohtang-La (3,980 m) – one of the most famous mountain passes in India, often covered in mist and snow. Descend into Lahaul Valley, passing Koksar village and following the Chandra River. By evening, reach Keylong, the administrative hub of Lahaul, surrounded by rugged mountains. Overnight stay in Keylong.

Gear up for an adventurous ride as you cross Jispa Valley, Zing Zing Bar, and the turquoise Suraj Tal Lake, the source of the Bhaga River. Ascend the mighty Baralacha-La Pass (4,890 m / 16,040 ft), one of Ladakh’s toughest passes, often snowbound. The descent leads to the high-altitude plains of Sarchu, a windswept camping ground between Himachal and Ladakh. Enjoy a bonfire under the starry skies before retiring for the night in deluxe camps.

Today is one of the longest rides of the trip. Start early and cross the famous Gata Loops (21 hairpin bends), then ride over Nakee-La (4,739 m) and Lachung-La (5,065 m). Pass through Pang and continue across the vast Moore Plains, a surreal stretch of high-altitude desert at over 4,000 m. Finally, ascend Tanglang-La (5,328 m), the second-highest motorable pass in India, before descending into the Indus Valley. Arrive in Leh by evening and settle into your hotel. After breakfast, begin the ascent to Khardung-La Pass (5,359 m / 18,380 ft) – the legendary gateway to Nubra Valley and one of the world’s highest motorable roads. After celebrating at the top, descend into Nubra Valley, known for its stark desert landscapes and green oases. Visit Diskit Monastery, home to a giant statue of Maitreya Buddha, and enjoy a unique Bactrian camel ride at the sand dunes of Hunder. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

Today’s ride is one of the most adventurous of the trip. Travel through remote villages like Agham, Shyok, and Durbuk, with thrilling stretches of off-roading and occasional river crossings. By afternoon, arrive at the stunning Pangong Tso (4,350 m) – a 134 km long lake stretching into Tibet, famous for its changing shades of blue. Spend the evening enjoying the magical sunset by the lakeside. Overnight stay in lakeside camps at Pangong.

Wake up early to witness the sunrise over Pangong Lake – a view you will never forget. After breakfast, ride back to Leh via the mighty Chang-La Pass (5,360 m), the world’s second-highest motorable road. On the way, stop at Thiksey Monastery, a grand 12-story complex often compared to the Potala Palace in Lhasa. Arrive in Leh by evening for leisure and relaxation. Overnight stay in Leh.

Today is kept as a rest and recovery day after back-to-back rides. You will have the bikes until 3 PM for half-day local sightseeing. Visit Shanti Stupa, offering panoramic views of Leh town, and the historic Leh Palace, followed by Leh Gompa. In the evening, bikes are sent for servicing while you are free to shop in Leh Market. Start early for a long ride back towards Himachal. Cross Tanglang-La, Moore Plains, Pang, Lachung-La, Nakee-La, and Sarchu once again, reliving the thrilling adventure of the Leh–Manali Highway. Continue towards Baralacha-La Pass and finally descend to Jispa, a quiet riverside settlement. Overnight stay in camps/guesthouse at Jispa.

On the final day of your expedition, ride back over Rohtang-La Pass, descending into the lush greenery of Kullu Valley. Reach Manali by afternoon, freshen up at the hotel, and bid farewell to the group. Later, board your overnight Volvo bus to Delhi with unforgettable memories of your Ladakh bike expedition.

Arrive at the Explorers in Prini, Himachal Pradesh. It is just 5 Kms from Manali Volvo bus stand. Check in the accommodation and freshen up yourself and you are free to explore local on your own. Wake up and get ready for the journey towards Kaza after your breakfast. We will enter Lahaul after crossing Atal Tunnel. Enroute Kaza we will visit Kunzum-La Pass, Chicham Bridge (One of the highest bridges in Asia), key monastery and Kibber. After the journey of 200+ Kms we will reach our accommodation. Check-in your room and freshen up yourself. Overnight stay in Camp/Hotel/Homestay followed by Dinner

Being remotely located atop a hill overlooking endless plains, the Key Monastery is a world famous center for learning and is an obvious choice for those seeking peace and calm. Declared a national park in 1987, Pin Valley has altitudes ranging from 11,000 to 20,000 feet and is home to at least 12 endangered snow leopards. In addition, other animals indigenous to the region and park are the Siberian Ibex, Bharal, Weasel, Red Fox, and Marten. Birds such as the Pika, Griffon, Golden Eagle, Bearded Vulture, Chukor, and Raven can be spotted flocking to the skies of the picturesque valley. We first visited the Kungri Monastery and then the beautiful hamlet of Mud – the last motorable village of the Pin Valley. Overnight at Kaza.

Visit some of the highest inhabited regions of the world. The highest village in Asia – Komic, situated at a height of 4513 m, has a population of 84 people and is cut off from the rest of the world for most parts of the year. Later, we drive to Hikkim, where we have a chance to send postcards from the world’s highest post office! At Langza, walk back to the prehistoric era when Spiti was submerged by the Tethys Sea, as you explore a land very rich with fossils of Marine animals and plants which were here millions of years ago. We start tracing our steps back towards Manali. However, make one last stop to witness another Spitian wonder – Chandra Taal Lake. The mystical and beautiful Chandra Taal Lake or the Moon Lake is located at a height of 14,000 feet. The Chandra Bhaga mountain range forms a striking backdrop for the lake, which changes appearance according to the pictures painted in the sky. Later check in to the Campsite near Chandratal Lake, and overnight stay at the tents under the gaze of a million stars and the Milky Way Galaxy.

Today, we commenced our way back on the Manali – Kaza Road. We pass through some more stunning landscapes and cross the Solang Valley via atal tunnel to reach Manali by afternoon. Relax at the hotel and get ready to board the Volvo to Delhi and reach by next morning with lots of amazing memories to remember for a lifetime!

Today after breakfast, check out from the Hotel & drive to Pangong Lake, east to the Leh after crossing Chang-la (Pass) (17500ft) and driving via Durbuk and Tangtse villages in the Changthang region of Ladakh and perhaps one of the most amazing lakes in Asia which changes its color 4 – 5 times a day.
