Complete Details

Board a comfortable overnight Volvo bus from Delhi to Manali. The journey takes around 12–14 hours and offers picturesque views as you pass through Punjab and into the Himalayan region.

 

Arrive in Manali and transfer to your hotel. Spend the day acclimatizing to the altitude. Stroll around Mall Road, enjoy local cafés, and attend an evening briefing about the trek and safety measures.

 

Drive to Solang Valley (approx. 13 km), then begin trekking towards Bakarthach. The route takes you past Dhundi village and through alpine meadows. Camp overnight at Bakarthach under the stars.

 

A crucial day for rest and acclimatization. You’ll practice using technical equipment like crampons, ropes, and ice axes, and prepare mentally and physically for the summit push ahead.

 

Trek to the Advance Base Camp with gradual altitude gain. The terrain becomes steeper and more rugged. Set up camp amidst panoramic views of peaks like Hanuman Tibba and Ladakhi Peak.

 

Start early (around 2–3 AM) for the summit push. Trek over snow and ice fields, using your gear efficiently. After reaching the summit of Friendship Peak, soak in the 360-degree Himalayan views, then descend back to ABC.

 

Descend back to Bakarthach and further to Solang Valley. Drive back to Manali. Check in at your hotel and enjoy a hot shower and well-earned rest.

 

Keep this day for buffer/rest in case of delays due to weather. Explore Manali town, visit Hadimba Temple, or relax in Vashisht hot springs.

Board the evening Volvo bus from Manali to Delhi. Reach Delhi by the next morning with unforgettable memories of the trek.

Drive to Stok Village (1-hour) and start the trek. Moderate ascent through dry terrain and riverbeds to Chang Ma campsite.

 

A relatively easy trekking day with scenic views of the Stok range. You’ll cross streams and valleys, setting camp near the river at Mankorma.

 

A gradual but consistent ascent takes you to the base camp. Surrounded by glaciers and peaks, base camp offers beautiful views and the first glimpse of Stok Kangri's summit.

 

Trek to nearby ridges, practice rope techniques, crampon and ice axe use. Summit briefing and gear check will be done.

 

Early midnight start for the summit push. It’s a tough climb via glaciers, steep ridges, and a sharp final ascent. The summit rewards you with panoramic views of Zanskar, Karakoram, and Leh ranges. Descend to base camp.

 

Trek back down to Stok Village. From there, drive to Leh. Evening free for celebration or rest.

 

Trip ends. Transfer to Leh airport for your onward journey.

Arrive in the vibrant hill town of Manali and check into your hotel. Spend the day acclimatizing and preparing for the trek ahead. You can explore Hadimba Temple, Manu Temple, or the local markets and take a relaxing walk by the Beas River to help your body adjust to the altitude. A pre-trek briefing session will be conducted in the evening.

 

 

Start early for a scenic drive through the Atal Tunnel into the arid landscapes of Lahaul. Cross Keylong, the district headquarters, and arrive at Darcha, a quaint village on the Leh–Manali highway. The drive takes 6–7 hours covering about 140 km. Settle into your campsite at Darcha, surrounded by towering mountains and glacial streams.

 

Begin your trek from Darcha along the Barai Nallah. The route is 8 km long and takes 5–6 hours through pine-lined trails, alpine meadows, and wooden bridges. The landscape begins to change, and you’ll witness pristine natural beauty. Camp at Chikka, a grassy clearing surrounded by boulder fields and distant snow peaks.

 

Trek further into the high mountains, with a gradual yet challenging ascent over scree and glacial streams. The trail grows steeper and more rugged. You’ll pass through rocky moraines and reach Tarsang by late afternoon – a serene alpine pasture with expansive views. The environment is perfect for soaking in the raw Himalayan wilderness.

 

This is a short but demanding day as you gain significant altitude. The trail leads through icy terrain, snow patches, and uneven boulders. Mantosa Base Camp offers stunning views of the Mantosa Peak ridgeline and nearby glaciers. Set camp and prepare yourself physically and mentally for the summit push.

 

Today is a rest and training day at base camp. You’ll take a short hike to a nearby ridge to aid acclimatization and get hands-on experience with snow gear such as crampons and ice axes. The guide will brief you about the summit route and expected weather conditions. It’s essential to stay hydrated and rest well before the big climb.

 

Start early before sunrise for the summit attempt. The climb is steep and technical in parts, involving glacier walks and scree slopes. The summit offers breathtaking 360° views of the Lahaul and Zanskar ranges. After spending time at the top, descend carefully back to base camp. Total trekking time is 10–12 hours, depending on conditions.

 

Begin your return journey, retracing your steps via Tarsang and Chikka. Descend back to Darcha by evening and settle into the campsite, cherishing the achievement of summiting Mantosa Peak.

 

Drive back to Manali via Keylong and Atal Tunnel. Reach Manali by late afternoon and check into your hotel or continue with your onward journey. The trek ends with memories of an exhilarating high-altitude adventure in the heart of Lahaul.

Drive from Manali to Chandertal Lake Altitude 4270mts crossing over the Rohtang La Pass, entering into the Lahaul-Spiti Valley, driving along the Chandra River, and passing through Chotta-Dara & Batal (small halt stations on the way). Day Highlights: 3-4 Hours Trek, Kunzum La Pass, Kibber, 5-6 Hours Drive, Agricultural Fields, Stone Houses

Day Details: Prep up with breakfast, you will begin from the lake for the trek to Kunzum Pass top which towers at 4,600m. Light and pleasant in nature, you can enjoy the terrain that is semi-arid. When in Kunzam Pas, be driven to Kibber. Come evening and you can tour the monastery that is there and enjoy an amble through the stunning Spitian scenery. At this high hamlet, you can also savour the stone houses along with the agriculture grounds.  Overnight at a homestay/camp  in Kibber 

 

 

We get an early head-start today for the trek from Kibber to the Mt. Kanamo base camp. Eat up well before you get started. You will pass through dense wilderness and after four hours of strenuous trekking, we reach the Mt. Kanamo base camp. We camp overnight here.

Day Details: This day starts off with a heavy breakfast after which you can start your climb to the top of a 6,000m peak crossing 2 shoulders in the mountain. This is followed by an ascending trek to the ridge that will take you to the top. Based on the season, you might encounter little snow at the top which will require you to be extra careful.

When at the summit, delight in the great sights that include Parang La Pass that leads to Ladakh, Pin Parvati Pass that leads to Kullu Valley, Kinnaur ranges, Lahaul and Spiti and the stunning valleys. As per the weather, you can enjoy some moments taking in the beauty of its sights and environs after which you can start the back journey cautiously. When at the camp, celebrate your climb and set down your camps for the night.

Today, are you ready for the White Hostess? Are you ready to conquer Mt. Kanamo? Yes, you will be overcome with emotion at the top at 5,964 meters – in awe of what you just achieved and at the sight you behold from up high. We head back down, the descent being quick and easy and reach Kaza by early evening.  Overnight stay Hotel.

Day Details: With the completion of the day's breakfast, pack your bags and wish adieu to the enchanting village of Kaza. Depart the hotel and drive off to Manali, after which you can continue onward journey, you have completed your Mt Kanamo Peak trek.

Drive to Solang Nallah (2,560 m), then begin your trek towards Bakarthach, a high-altitude meadow used as a base by many mountaineers. The trail passes through dense forests and opens into a stunning alpine zone. Overnight in tents.

Spend the day resting, doing short hikes, and acclimatizing. Go over the use of technical gear like ice axe, harness, and crampons. Overnight stay in tents.

Trek to Beas Kund, the base of the expedition. The trail includes moraines and glacier patches. Set up camp and prepare for load ferry and practice sessions. Overnight in tents.

Carry equipment and supplies to the ABC (around 4,700 m) and return to base camp. This helps in acclimatization and gear stocking. Overnight at base camp.

Shift completely to Advanced Base Camp. This camp is closer to the glacier and offers great views of Hanuman Tibba. Overnight in tents.

Start the climb before midnight. The route includes snow slopes, crevasses, and steep ridges. Ropework, ice axe, and crampons are necessary. Reach the summit of Hanuman Tibba and enjoy panoramic views of the Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar ranges. Descend carefully to ABC. Overnight in tents.

Kept as a contingency in case of bad weather or team delay. If not used, can be spent resting or exploring around the base. Overnight in tents.

Trek down to Solang Nallah via Bakarthach. Drive back to Manali and check into your hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Manali.

After breakfast, check out and depart for onward journey from Manali.

On day two, drive from Manali to Solang Valley (about 14 km), which is the starting point of the trek. Solang Valley is known for its stunning views and adventure activities. Once you reach Solang Valley, begin your trek towards Patalsu Base Camp. The initial part of the trek is a gradual ascent through lush green meadows and oak forests. You'll spend the night camping at the base of Patalsu Peak.

 

This is the main trekking day, as you’ll ascend to the summit of Patalsu Peak (around 4,220 meters). The trek is approximately 7-8 km one way and involves a steady ascent through forests, alpine meadows, and rocky paths. The final stretch to the summit is steeper and requires a bit of effort, but the breathtaking views from the top make it all worth it. Once at the summit, you'll be rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, including Indrasen Peak, Hanuman Tibba, and Dhauladhar Range. After enjoying the views, you’ll begin your descent back to the base camp, where you’ll spend the night.

 

On day four, begin your descent from the base camp back to Solang Valley. The descent is much easier and quicker than the ascent, and you'll pass through beautiful meadows and forests along the way. Once you reach Solang Valley, you’ll drive back to Manali. You can spend the evening exploring more of Manali or relax in the town before preparing for your departure the next day.

 

On the final day, you’ll check out of your accommodation and head back to your next destination or return home. If time allows, you can visit more attractions in Manali, such as the Rohtang Pass or enjoy a relaxing walk along the Beas River.
